Blending poetry, punk rock and Ukrainian folklore, Dakh Daughters were born of the Kyiv theatre scene in the early part of the 21st century. As the troupe embarks on a tour of their latest show "Danse macabre" in France, Switzerland and Luxembourg, members Ganna and Ruslana join us in the studio to talk about fleeing their homes and decamping to Normandy, as well as the fairytale battles of good versus evil and their echoes in current affairs. We also discuss the international art world's response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
