The Ukrainian president has claimed that a child has passed away from dehydration in Mariupol - as the United Nations confirmed the death toll for civilians since the illegal invasion began now stands at 1,207.
In a video address, Volodymyr Zelenskyy hit out at Russian forces for 'blocking' some of the proposed 'evacuation routes' put in by the Kremlin during the alleged ceasefire.
Mr Zelenskyy said: "Mariupol was surrounded, blocked, is being exhausted, tortured.
