UK tourists have been issued a warning to 'act now' if they plan on taking a trip amid soaring holiday prices.
Consumer experts at Which? have said that holiday prices have risen by as much as 19 per cent year on year for many popular travel destinations. They are urging people to book their holidays early to avoid being caught out by any price rises in 2023.
Which? analysed some mainstream holiday destinations such as Spain, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus, and Turkey and discovered that holidays cost an average of 30 per cent more than last year with an average price of £867 per person this summer. According to data sourced from Travelsupermarket parent Ice Travel Group, prices have gone up a fifth in price, with Cyprus even seeing a rise of 15 per cent, Birmingham Live reports.
