UK mum's shock after her infamous diss track used by Kim Kardashian

A British grime artist has told of her shock after her infamous 'diss track' was used in viral video that saw Kim Kardashian hailed as 'the Queen of TikTok'.

Mum-of-one Millie Bracewell, 22, released her iconic diss track 'M to the B' about her then-rival Sophie Aspin in 2016.

The tune, which was released on music platform Blackpool Grime Media, went viral when it came out and was given a new lease of life on TikTok since 2020.

Millions of social media users have filmed themselves re-creating the 'typical British chav' makeup while singing along to the song.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, 42, posted a video applying make-up in the style of TikTok's 'Chav trend'.

Millie said: "Obviously it's crazy because it was sort of out there for the world anyway.

"It was bound to happen anyway because it's out there but it's crazy because I'm just a normal Blackpool girl."

In Kim's viral TikTok, she films herself excessively chomping on chewing gum while putting her hair into a messy bun.

She then gives herself block eyebrows, orange foundation, dark contour and uses a pale shade of concealer to give herself the so-called 'chav' look.

Millie added: "It's not something you see every day.

"I sort of thought that she must have sat there and practiced it to try and get it right which I found quite bizarre to be honest.

"I've noticed that people are saying it's the Essex make up look but I would say it's more the Blackpool makeup look.

"I think people copy my makeup and try and say that it's theirs in a way because people are saying it's the Essex makeup.

"But it sort of originated from my song that I did and I'm from Blackpool."

Millie, who is known by her stage name 'Millie B', said that lots of other celebrities such as Jason Derulo and Madison Beer have done the TikTok trend.

She said: "Kim is probably the biggest person who has done it.

"Jason Derulo is up there but Kim is definitely right at the top.

"I listened to Jason Derulo as a kid so it was sort of a different reaction when he did it I think."

Millie, who is now mum to Gracie-Lee Bracewell, four, has said she still gets recognised by fans in the street, which she has said is 'just the normal now.'

She said: "I do get recognised a lot and I'm sort of used to it now but before I would think why do people want pictures with me?

"I'm used to it so I expect it when I go out but it's just the normal now I suppose."

Millie, who boasts nearly 70,000 Instagram followers, is still making music and hopes to release an album in the future.

She said: "I'm doing some studio time to hopefully try and release an album.

"I want to be getting more music out there and I want to be staying relevant and keep it up.

"Before I wasn't really interested in it and I wanted to put it in my past but things have come about with TikTok so I definitely want to pursue it and make a career out of it."
