UK Government Minister visits partners of landmark Falkirk Growth Deal

UK Government Minister for Scotland, Iain Stewart MP, has visited partners of the landmark Falkirk Growth Deal.

With Heads of Terms signed on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, the deal aims to transform the region's economy by investing in innovative, sustainable industries.

The Investment Zone for Falkirk and Grangemouth will be funded by £80m investment from the UK and Scottish governments, £45m from Falkirk Council, £5.8m from Scottish Canals.
