The Foreign Office has issued a travel warning for anyone going to Mexico on holiday this summer.
Due to a natural disaster in the region, it has issued a list of areas across the country that should only be visited for 'essential travel'. It comes after Tropical Storm Beatriz continues to strengthen off Mexico's southern Pacific coast.
Forecasts of potential hurricanes are being spread, with a hurricane warning coming into effect on parts of southern Mexico. According to the Foreign Office, hurricane season in Mexico tends to run from June to November and affects both the Pacific and Atlantic costs.
