UGA football offers home-schooled pass rusher

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to class of 2024 edge rusher Danny Okoye. The unranked junior pass rusher already has more than a dozen scholarship offers.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound edge rusher is a good student. He plays high school football for Northeast Oklahoma Association of Homeschools in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Okoye is a versatile player. He plays tight end, running back and defensive end. Okoye recorded over 10 sacks as a sophomore.

Head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia football have the No. 3 class of 2024 in the country. Georgia has commitments from five players in the class of 2024. However, none of Georgia’s commitments are on the defensive side of the football.

The 2024 pass rusher has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Oregon, Kansas State, Duke and many more notable college football programs.

Okoye does a good job of setting the edge and shows good power as a pass rusher on tape.
