The Georgia Bulldogs no longer have the top ranked class of 2024 in the country. Georgia dropped behind Ohio State in the 2024 recruiting rankings, per 247Sports, following the decommitment and flip of five-star tight end Landen Thomas.
However, Georgia still holds the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation. Kirby Smart and the Dawgs are off to a strong start in the 2024 cycle. The Bulldogs currently hold 11 commitments. Georgia has the highest average commitment ranking of any team with over 10 commits in the 2024 recruiting class.
Georgia is still well-positioned to secure an elite recruiting class. The Bulldogs are off to a strong start with the junior class. The Peach State is stacked in the 2024 cycle; it has 18 of the nation’s top 100 overall recruits.
Georgia is vying to land a commitment from five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, who was previously committed to Ohio State. Speaking of Ohio State, the Buckeyes may be the hottest recruiting program in the country at the moment. Ohio State has picked up six commitments in April.
Michigan holds the third-ranked recruiting class in the country followed by LSU and Florida State.
