The Georgia Bulldogs are among the latest programs to offer a scholarship to class of 2023 defensive back recruit Jayden Bonsu. Bonsu has recent scholarship offers from Oregon, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, and more.
He is one of the rising prospects in the class of 2023. Bonsu is ranked as a three-star recruit, but his recent offers indicate he has the potential to finish ranked as a four-star.
Bonsu plays high school football for St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, New Jersey. New Georgia Bulldogs defensive back coach Fran Brown is familiar with the northeast recruiting territory and has excellent relationships in the area. He is part of the reason why the Bulldogs are offering Bonsu.
The three-star defensive back is 6-foot-2, 200-pounds and primarily plays safety. Bonsu is the No. 7 recruit in New Jersey and the No. 361 overall prospect.
