PERTH, Australia – The UFC 284 fight card is now official following Friday’s weigh-in session, where 24 of 26 athletes scheduled to compete successfully hit their marks on the scale.
Saturday’s card, which takes place at RAC Arena with a main card that airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+, is headlined by a pair of championship fights.
Islam Makhachev (23-1 MMA, 12-1 UFC) and Alexander Volkanovski (25-1 MMA, 12-0 UFC) will meet in a champion-vs-champion lightweight title bout in the main event, while Yair Rodriguez (14-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) and Josh Emmett (18-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) will fight for the interim featherweight gold in the co-main event.
