Tyson Fury has claimed Deontay Wilder is searching for a "whooping" after the 'Bronze Bomber' suggested a fourth fight is possible.
Wilder will make his ring return against Robert Helenius on October 15 at the Barclays Center in New York, which will be the first time he has fought since losing to Fury in their trilogy bout last year. The American heavyweight was able to knock down the 'Gypsy King' twice but found himself stopped in the penultimate round, which saw him consider retirement.
However, the 'Bronze Bomber' is back and is eyeing a title charge which could see him collide paths with his long-term rival once again. The 36-year-old has suggested there is unfinished business between the pair and would be open to settling the scores for a fourth time.
"I think that there's definitely a chance of a fourth fight again," Wilder told Sky Sports. "Boxing is a business. Many people call it a sport but it's not a sport. The heavyweight division is very small. I'm still a big fish in the business, especially here in America. As long as we're all in the same division and all still currently fighting, why not? It only can lead to that. With all that being said, it's definitely a possibility."
Fury has since issued a response on his Instagram story, with the caption: "Man is looking for another a** whooping." The WBC champion and Wilder have shared an epic rivalry since 2018, when they first met and Fury was controversially denied victory in a draw.
Two years later, the pair touched gloves again and after a change to his coaching team, Fury secured a dominant KO victory in Las Vegas to set up an undisputed clash with Anthony Joshua. However, the American was not done with his rival yet and was able to force another meeting via court arbitration to deny Fury his chance at fighting his fellow Brit for all the marbles.

Fury was able to get the upper hand again last October in an epic battle which appeared to signal the final bow of a battling rivalry. Nonetheless, Wilder remains ranked as the leading contender with the WBC and could put himself into contention for another shot providing he ousts the challenge of Andy Ruiz Jr, who is also looking to make a title charge.
Wilder told ESNews : "I'll fight them all. We'll see, the future is bright. The king is back. Ain't no excitement going through unless I'm here. We've tried to prove that many times and we have. That's why I'm back by popular demand. I've been sitting at home chilling, enjoying my family."
In response, Fury quickly hit back again, saying: "Tell that dosser to get to the back of the queue with the rest of the losers. Don't forget the last time we saw this bomb [he needed] to get scraped off the canvas in Vegas!"
