A dinner that was supposed to end with a simple gesture of appreciation instead left one TikTok creator vowing that she is “done tipping restaurants.”

In a video, TikTok creator Zephaniah claimed an unexpected charge after a meal at The Cheesecake Factory in Hawaii changed the way she pays at restaurants. She said she and her husband intended to reward their server with cash. Instead, she later discovered what she says was an unauthorized $50 gratuity added to her card.
