Tyson Fury places huge £100,000 bet on brother Tommy to knockout Jake Paul

Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has bet £100,000 on brother Tommy to knockout Jake Paul in their grudge fight.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul and Love Island star Fury are scheduled to meet over eight rounds in Saudi Arabia this Sunday after two previous bookings between them have been cancelled. Tyson is confident his brother can get the job done inside the distance despite bookies making him a considerable underdog in the fight.

"Tommy knocks out 90 per cent of people that he spars with or drops them at least, so he's a very hard puncher and Jake Paul will find that out tomorrow," Tyson told iFL TV. "I've got 100 racks on it for an inside the distance stoppage, so if he loses, then I'll lose 100 bags as well. I've got him at 3-1.

"I know Tommy is going to knock him out. What is a little bit stupid is I see all these experts and professional boxers picking Jake Paul over Tommy. I'm like, 'What the hell are these guys watching?', because Tommy will absolutely deck him. I think Tommy can get him out of there whenever really. It'll definitely be inside the distance and it won't be a points job for sure. Tommy wins by knockout."

Fury turned professional in 2018 but has been involved in boxing for well over a decade, with Paul being considered by many as his toughest opponent to date. The Brit is unbeaten in eight professional fights, with just three of those wins coming by stoppage, whilst Paul has won by knockout in four of his six professional wins.

Tyson has promised to leave his brother in Saudi Arabia if he loses to Paul, suggesting he should quit boxing and get a job as Cristiano Ronaldo's personal trainer if he suffers his first professional defeat. 'The Gypsy King' says his brother is as "calm as a cucumber" and doesn't think he will get caught up by the magnitude of the fight.

"If he loses to Jake Paul, he's finished with boxing, isn't he? But he's paid well enough so he's been compensated for the massive risk, but I can't see it. I think even if Jake Paul had a hammer in each hand, he could [not] beat Tommy anyway. He's been around this big stuff a long time with me, so he's no newbie to all these big events, he seems as calm as a cucumber," Fury told Seconds Out.
