Tyson Fury has "congratulated" Amir Khan and Kell Brook for finally getting the fight on and has refused to make a prediction ahead of the grudge match.
The British pair will finally settle their long-standing rivalry in Manchester tonight in front of a sold-out crowd of 20,000 fans.
Fight week has been a story of tension and exchanges with both Khan and Brook vowing to record victory in stoppage fashion.
Fury has delivered his verdict ahead of the fight on social media : "People keep asking me my opinion on who wins the fight. I know both fighters and wish them well. Both have had great careers and I am glad it is finally happening and the fans get to see it.
"Especially as many British showdowns don't come off. Congratulations to both men for getting it on and may the best man win."
Khan has not been in action for over two and a half years since his victory over billy Dib and has been preparing for the bout with new coach Brian 'BoMac' McIntyre.
Meanwhile Brook has not fought since he was brutally stopped by Terence Crawford at the back end of 2020 and has reunited with life-long trainer Dominic Ingle.
The pair have agreed to meet at a catchweight of 149lbs with the pair weighing in within the limit during fight week.
Retirement could beckon for the loser of the fight with both men considered in the twilight years of their career.
Khan is confident of securing a bragging rights victory against a man he has branded as already "half broken".
"It’s a business, it is what it is,” said Khan. “Why not? He’s still Kell Brook, he still talks the same, he still feels the same way about fighting me and he still feels that he can beat me.

"I just don’t think he has it in him. He’s not the same Kell Brook he was before. A couple years ago, he would’ve given me a harder fight for sure.
"But now, he doesn’t have a chance. It’s probably better fighting him now because he’s already half-broken. Beating a Kell Brook now or beating him five years ago, I don’t think it makes a difference.
“Kell has no chance of winning this fight. I’m going to destroy him, and it’s going to be a masterclass. The way I destroy him, he’ll need to retire after that, this will be his last fight."
Brook has admitted his own struggles at making the welterweight limit in previous bouts against Crawford and Errol Spence.
However he has successfully made the limit after the imminent threat of a six-figure fine coming in at 148lbs.
The Sheffield star has also vowed to secure a stoppage victory over his rival, who he has continued to argue prevented the fight from happening during their primes.
Tests against Conor Benn or Chris Eubank Jr could await Brook after being called out by the pair providing he secures a statement victory over Khan.
