Tyson Fury divides fans with new ice lolly flavours at Iceland

Two-time boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has divided shoppers over a new product from his ‘ Furocity ’ line of energy products. Social media users have had their say after spotting the new flavours of ice lollies, which are being stocked exclusively at Iceland.

A photo of the new Sour Cherry Knockout and Sour Apple Punch frozen treats were shared on the Newfoodsuk facebook page, racking up nearly 100 comments from customers.

And while some people can’t wait to try the new flavours, which join ‘original’ and ‘black and blue raspberry’, others don’t seem too keen on the idea.

Commenting on the post, Wayne Huges joked: “These look like they pack a punch.” While Megal Louise added: “These flavours are what dreams are made of.”

But Carolyne Fowler- wasn’t convinced, writing: “The drinks are too sour especially the cherry,” referencing the similarly flavoured energy drink from the range. Bev Dransfield commented: “If they're anything like the energy drinks they'll be awful.”

The 33-year-old from Wythenshawe , known as the Gypsy King, launched Furocity in February. Tyson said: “Unlike my opponents, Furocity packs a real punch. It's about hitting your day harder and making the moment count. It's a feeling you can't bottle. So I put it in a can."

The energy drinks come in at £1.50 a can at Iceland, while the ice lollies cost £3.50 for a box of four. One Iceland shopper reviewed the original lolly flavour, saying they’re just like a Calippo, ‘but better’. They added: “Perfect for a hot day or just to give you a bit of energy.”

The water ice lollies are flavoured with cherry or apple, containing guarana, which contains caffeine, as well as vitamins B, C and E. Could these ice lollies be the ideal way to cool off this summer? We’ll let you decide.

Iceland customers can bag £5 off orders over £45 online when they sign up for the first time. Those who can fill their basket to quality just need to enter the code “ ICEFIVEOFF ” when they hit the minimum spend - and you won’t even need to pay for next day delivery.
