Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora shake hands on agreement ahead of trilogy fight

Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora shook hands on an agreement to stand in the middle of the ring and "batter the f***" out of each other when they meet for a third time on Saturday night

The heavyweight duo have already fought twice before, with Fury securing victory on both occasions, and will meet for one last time this weekend. They began their fight-week promotion for the event in London on Tuesday with open workouts, where they came head-to-head during a ringside interview.

Fury and Chisora play-fought for a second before shaking hands and agreeing to stand and trade in the middle of the ring during the opening round of their contest. History would tell us that their fights don't play out exactly like that, but Fury has adopted a more aggressive fighting style in recent years.

"I ain't got s*** to say - I'm buzzing," Chisora told Fury before the heavyweight champion agreed and declared that he is going to knock his old rival out. Fury then said: "Let's give the fans what they want, let's stand in the middle of the ring and batter the f*** out of each other. We'll step to the line and we'll have it - we're getting it on like Donkey Kong!"

Chisora then insisted that Fury stick to his word, adding "in the first round, we let our hands free and we go". Fury stopped Chisora in their second meeting almost a decade ago, having gone the distance in their first clash. The pair then became friends, but the Londoner picked against his pal in his last two fights, against Dillian Whyte and Deontay Wilder, leading to a falling-out.

Fans have expressed their disappointment at Fury facing Chisora instead of a top contender in the division, particularly after talks made it to the final stages for a bout between he and Anthony Joshua. However, the world heavyweight champion is planning to stay active in the coming months and wants a quick turnaround from Saturday's fight to an undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury's team attempted to make a December fight date with Usyk in Saudi Arabia, but the unified champion was suffering niggling injuries from his last couple of fights and was unable to make that turnaround. They insisted on staying active with a fight at the end of this year and put together the clash with Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
