Manchester United are confident of signing Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia – despite issues over the player's representation.
United have had a £15million offer for Malacia accepted by Feyenoord and are working on personal terms with the player to get the move over the line. The deal had been complicated by Malacia changing agents, with the 22-year-old now represented by his father, but United are adamant that has not affected the move.
United sources have indicated the deal for Malacia “remains on track for completion in the coming days” after the issue with his representation was successfully resolved. Both Feyenoord and United remain committed to the agreement they have struck, which will see the Premier League club pay £13million up front, plus a potential £2m in add-ons.
