Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill recently shared a seemingly normal tweet about loving your job, which sent NFL fans into a frenzy.
Life is short. You never know what will happen from moment to moment. So, it’s important to enjoy every day and, if possible, love what you do for a living. That seems like a simple message. Right? But it’s not so simple if you’re Tyreek Hill.
On Wednesday, he posted a similar sentiment to X (formerly Twitter): “Love what you do [because] it will end soon.” The tweet included a heart emoji and a simple photo of the wide receiver walking onto the field.

That should have been the end of it. However, with no context around what prompted the message (and a history of tweeting cryptic things), the tweet sparked a ton of fan speculation, including retirement rumors.
