Two teenagers arrested after 'attempted murder' in Paisley residential area

TWO teenagers have been arrested after an "attempted murder" in Paisley.

Police received a report of a man having been seriously injured on George Street following a disturbance at around 8pm on Monday, July 13.

The 53-year-old was taken to hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.

An 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man have now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Thursday, July 15.

Enquiries are ongoing.
