Two teenage boys die in 'tragic drowning incident' in Co Derry lake

Two teenage boys have died after getting into difficulty while swimming in a lake in Co. Derry.

The pair, both aged 16, entered Lough Enagh on Monday evening before the tragedy occurred.

According to a Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) statement, officers were called to the scene at around 6.25pm on Monday after receiving reports of a number of people in difficulty in the water.
