Two police cordons in place as armed officers are scrambled to shooting

Two police cordons remain in place in Bolton this morning after armed officers were scrambled to a shooting.

Officers rushed to the scene of the incident on Parkfield Avenue at around 5.20pm yesterday (Saturday) after the suspected shooting. The area was 'secured' as police worked to 'hunt down those involved'.

Shortly after arriving on scene, police then rushed to two other serious incidents nearby. A vehicle was reported to have driven into another vehicle on Bradford Road, and a Jeep had been driven into a home on Lavender Road.
