Two arrested in Co Tyrone in connection with paramilitary style attack

Co Tyrone Strabane

Police have arrested two men in Co Tyrone in connection with a paramilitary style attack which took place in 2019 and criminality related to violent dissident republican activity.

A 28-year-old woman has also been arrested near Liverpool in connection with the incident.

Two residential properties were searched in Strabane and Sion Mills by the PSNI’s Criminal Investigation team and Terrorism Investigation Unit on Thursday morning, as well as two business premises in the town.
