A teenager has been taken to hospital following a stabbing in Oldham. Two men are currently in custody following the incident on Littlemoor Lane yesterday (April 3).
Greater Manchester Police says officers were called out to reports of a stabbing at around 12.15pm on Monday. A 19-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
He remains in a serious but stable condition at hospital today (Tuesday). Eyewitnesses reported seeing an area of Littlemoor Lane taped off by police yesterday afternoon, near to Littlemoor Primary School.
An air ambulance was seen landing at the scene. A spokesperson for GMP said: "Officers were called to Littlemoor Lane, Oldham, at around 12.15pm on April 3, 2023 to reports a man had been stabbed.
"A 19-year-old man was treated at the scene by emergency services and taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition. Two men have been arrested - one on suspicion of assault and one for assisting an offender - and remain in custody for questioning."
