HYDERABAD: The war of words continued for the second day on Monday between Telangana minister KT Rama Rao and BJP leaders on social media platform twitter.
KTR on Sunday tweeted referring to PM Modi’s visit to Hyderabad to unveil the statue of equality at Muchintal saying: "Icon of Partiality unveiled #Statue of Equality. And irony just died a billion deaths!!"
Responding to his tweet, Union minister G Kishan Reddy took to twitter and said" "If police is removed for 15 mnts, we Muslims will finish 100 crore Hindus. CM KCR and KTR endorse such statements by aligning with Owaisi and MIM. They velarize Nizam whose Razakar army massacred Hindus at will. He then abuses the PM whose only dharma is Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas."
It did not stop there, KTR, who is also TRS working president said on twitter that "Kishan Reddy garu, while my comment was about NDA government's apathy towards Telangana and how this partiality is hurting several states, you are resorting to the same obfuscation again by bringing in irrelevant issues. Care to clarify on any of these issues such as national project status to Kaleshwaram or Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project, no Bayyaram steel plant, no assistance to Pharma city or Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, no tribal university, no to Kazipet railway coach factory, no new industrial corridors, no Niti Aayog recommended support to Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya, no flood relief funds to the state, no assistance to Musi beautification, metro rail, no new railway lines, no mega power loom clusters and ITIR scrapped etc."
Earlier in the day, former MLC and BJP leader N Ramchander Rao criticised KTR in his tweet on PM Narendra Modi "Icon of Partiality", saying "you are not anywhere near the reality @KTRTRS. The irony is that now Bhagyanagar will be recognized for Statue of Equality and not your people's Charminar."
Responding to Ramchander Rao, KTR said: "Sir, I know it's difficult for the Godse worshippers to comprehend words such as communal harmony and plurality. It's a pity that even after ruling the country for eight years, the only fall back for you is 80-20, US v/s them blah. By the way, Dynasty isn't half as bad as Nasty Bigotry."
