Twitter’s apparent demise had the Chargers call back an all-time classic random tweet about Chinese food

As news of tension and apparent discord at Twitter spread on Thursday night, users of the social media platform began to speculate that they were witnessing the end of an Internet era with the famous blue bird.

In the sports sphere, some decided to relay other means they could be contacted by their followers and mutual follows — given how integral the website can be as a web of seamless communication. Some looked back and reflected on what they learned about themselves and others over the years in the digital space as they got emotional and considered the future.
