Twitter reacts to exciting Succession season four tease

If you've been suffering from Succession withdrawals then there was some good news for you on Twitter this weekend. Georgia Pritchett is one of the writers of hit TV series Succession and dropped a tweet that many had been waiting for since the series three finale in December 2021.

At the end of the final episode, fans were left stunned as the twists and turns of this epic story just kept on coming. One fan tweeted at the time: "Just finished the season finale of Succession. Three years running where the last episode just makes your jaw drop. Best show on TV right now." Another said: "Last night’s season 3 finale of Succession was one of the great episodes of television ever."

But when could we expect more? That's the only question we've had ever since those credits rolled. And now, we're on our way to getting some answers as Georgia Pritchett, whose Twitter bio also credits her as a writer on Veep, Thick of It, My Mess is A Bit of a Life and The Shrink Next Door, replied to a Succession-related tweet with a simple and killer line (classic Georgia). She said: "We've almost finished writing season 4".

Fans were quick to reply with one saying: "Georgia, captain of the RomanGerri ship I trust you with my life" and another said: "Tell me there is more Stewy in s4 my sanity hangs in the balance please".

Amidst the replies rumours also began to swirl that the filming was soon starting up with one Tweeting: "Apparently filming will start at the end of June". This is unconfirmed but we will, of course, break the news to you as soon as we get it.
