Is Twitter down? Thousands of users report outages

Twitter is down as thousands of users have reported outages.

According to Down Detector, more than 3,000 people have logged problems with the social media platform since 10am. The Twitter feed has been replaced with a Welcome to Twitter message.

The notification reads: "This is the best place to see what’s happening in your world. Find some people and topics to follow now." The outage is the latest issue to hit the social media platform since Elon Musk's controversial takeover last year.
