Twitch streamer added part of her own knee to pasta dish and fed it to boyfriend

A Twitch streamer has admitted she added quite an unusual ingredient to a spaghetti Bolognese dish she made - which she also fed to her boyfriend. Paula Gonu, who has almost 230,000 followers on the live gaming platform, revealed she put part of her own knee in the meal after undergoing recent surgery.

Speaking on the Club 113 podcast, the influencer told listeners she had local anaesthetic during the procedure to numb the pain while she remained conscious. At the end of the operation, the 30-year-old claims the surgeon asked her if she wanted to take some of her cartilage away with her, which she agreed to.

"I told him, ‘Yes’ and he put what he removed into a small container like those used for urine samples." She explained. "He put it in alcohol so it would stay that way for as long as I wanted.

"A week later, I was with my partner at the time, having a jokey conversation. I told him I wanted to eat it because it was part of me and I had to put it back in my body. I wanted to be able to say in my head that I’ve eaten a piece of my own meniscus."

Paula then shared that while making some Bolognese sauce, she threw in a piece of her cartilage, before serving up a portion to her partner, Arnau. Explaining her reasons for doing so, she argued people eat all kinds of animal meat and bones, and that eating her own was the same.

In the comment section, many viewers were shocked by the streamer's admission. Chester7464 wrote: "At what point did I decide that it was a good idea to watch this over dinner?"

CesarRodriguezdotcom added: "Today there was almost too much confidence...." Karandevrani6981 typed: "Part of you is also gooo.. why dont you put that in pasta." Melissacheram9981 joked: "So she ate her... Belowknees cheese...."
