Australia remains unbeaten after its first two group games at the Twenty20 World Cup thanks to an eight-wicket victory over Bangladesh in Gqeberha.
The defending champions chased down the target of 108 in unspectacular fashion, with captain Meg Lanning top-scoring with 48 not out, most of which came in a 69-run partnership with opener Alyssa Healy (37).
Ash Gardner (19*) hit the winning runs off the second ball of the 19th over, after Bangladesh battled to 7-107 from their 20 overs.
Captain Nigar Sultana Joty scored an impressive 57 off 50, eventually falling in the penultimate over when she mis-timed a lofted drive off Gardner, slicing a catch to Lanning.
She was the only Bangladeshi batter to score more than 12, with wickets falling all around her.
Leg-spinner Georgia Wareham was the pick of Australia's bowlers, with 3-20, while Darcie Brown (2-23), Gardner (1-17) and Megan Schutt (1-21) also got in on the act.
