The magnificent Vicky McClure returns as flinty explosives officer Lana “Wash” Washington for a fourth series of this slick bomb disposal thriller. Judging by Wash’s fraught therapy sessions, her high-stress job is taking its toll. But when a C4-laden truck starts rolling toward central London, she dives into peril without hesitation. The horror of this drama lies in the knowledge that, while the dysfunction of the mental institution is real, so is the distress and confusion of the inmates. The fallout from Australian EDM DJ Olivia Nervo’s relationship with businessman Matthew Pringle travelled as far as the Houses of Parliament as it was seen as a possible example of reproductive coercion. The second series of this documentary about romantic fraud and manipulation explores the case in all of its grimness. PH
