Bristol holidaymakers can start planning for summer 2024 as TUI announces a whole slew of new flights planned for next year, including a new destination. Today (Friday 21 April) the airline confirmed that 120,000 additional seats will be available on flights from Bristol Airport next year, compared to its schedule this summer.
There will be a new route to Boa Vista, Cape Verde, while there will also be daily flights to Palma de Mallorca. Located off the the west coast of Africa, Cape Verde's most popular island is said to be Sal, which TUI already flies to from Bristol, but its more laid-back neighbour Boa Vista is known for its sand dunes and stunning coastline.
The airline's destination guide says: "Boa Vista, Cape Verde’s most easterly island, translates as ‘Beautiful View’. And when you first set eyes on the beaches, you’ll see where it gets its nickname. The island is wrapped up in 55 kilometres’ worth of coastline, where rocky coves merge into white-sand bays."
