Well, in this instance, the group of friends are Club World Cup champions Chelsea FC, and the annoying photobomber is none other than President Donald J. Trump.
Trump’s ego must have taken a hit at some point on Sunday, because once the final whistle had been blown, he promptly decided that, actually, this entire event should be about him. During the on-stage victory celebration, he wandered up on stage (to the bewilderment of players) and refused to leave.
