Donald Trump intends to add gold presidential seals to the exterior of a massive, heavily fortified ballroom set to replace the demolished East Wing of the White House, according to renderings of the project administration officials shared with the Supreme Court.
The administration filed an emergency request to the Supreme Court for permission to continue construction on the project after a federal appeals court rejected the president’s attempts to construct the sprawling facility without approval from Congress.
