President Donald Trump was mocked by social media users for standing on a patch of turf during a tree planting at the White House on Tuesday.
The president helped plant a new tree, replacing the Jackson Magnolia, a 200-year-old tree near the west side of the South Portico of the White House, AP News reported. Trump shared in a previous Truth Social post, per AP News, that the tree was in "terrible condition, a very dangerous safety hazard, at the White House Entrance, no less."
