Trump Jr faces backlash after rejecting MAGA conspiracy theories around Charlie Kirk

  • He announced on his podcast Triggered that he would address the “fact versus fiction” of the case involving suspected gunman Tyler Robinson.
  • Trump Jr. stated that based on evidence he witnessed, the case appeared “much more cut-and-dried” and the evidence against Robinson was “overwhelming,” contrary to online speculation.
  • Robinson, 23, is charged with aggravated murder in the September killing of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, on a Utah university campus.
  • Some of Kirk's supporters accused Trump Jr. of “betrayal” and “gaslighting” for dismissing their conspiracy theories about the incident.
