During a debate opposing the Trump administration’s rampant abuse of power and their inability to take necessary steps for the well-being of Americans, McGovern’s topic of discussion was primarily focused on Healthcare.
On December 18, 2025, Jim McGovern went all guns blazing on Donald Trump and his band of Republican brothers by presenting one healthcare-related claim after another, all of which were true. McGovern highlighted that Trump and the Republicans have been misleading the public about having a “plan” to replace Obamacare (a.k.a Affordable Care Act) over the years, failing to fulfil their promises. By quoting Trump over the past seven years regarding his commitments to deliver a healthcare plan, McGovern noted that Trump is all talk and no action.
