Senator Ron Wyden is accusing the US Department of Justice and FBI of withholding an FBI interview report involving a banker connected to Jeffrey Epstein, raising fresh questions over whether the government has fully complied with a law requiring the release of Epstein-related records. Wyden says his investigators recently learnt that the FBI has an FD-302 documenting the interview, yet DOJ did not include it in the files released to the public.
In a letter dated 30 September to Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel, Wyden demanded the immediate release of the banker interview and all other FBI 302 reports connected to investigations into Epstein and his associates. The Oregon Democrat said the existence of the unreleased document suggests other related interview records could also remain outside the public release.
