Trump claims Reflecting Pool renovations are 'totally complete'

Donald Trump Reflecting Pool

Work appeared to continue on the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool a day after President Donald Trump claimed the project was “totally complete”.
Trump previously ordered the pool drained and repainted American Flag Blue, which resulted in peeling lining and bright blue algae blooms.
While Trump blamed vandals for the damage, felony charges against former Olympic canoeist David Hearn were ultimately dismissed.
Restoration contractor Atlantic Industrial Coatings acknowledged that human oversight and incompatible chemicals contributed to the pool lining failure.
Trump had promised that repairs to the landmark pool would be finished in time for the America 250 celebrations.
