US President Donald Trump gave an unusual compliment to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, calling the Indian-origin executive a “monster” before turning the moment into a playful lesson in remembering his name.
The conversation took place during an interaction with reporters when Trump turned to Pichai and asked, “Sundar [Pichai], you wanna say something?”
Pichai began, “First of all, thanks—”, but Trump cut in with an unexpected introduction.
“This guy is a monster, and nobody knows him. What a great life! To be a MONSTER and not have to go through this. All you have to know is Sundar! Sundar is his name,” Trump said.
