Donald Trump’s counter-terrorism chief has quit over the Iran war triggering new questions over its legality.

Joe Kent, head of the National Counter-terrorism Center, resigned on Tuesday, becoming the first ⁠and most senior member of Trump’s administration to resign over the Middle East conflict.
