TRNSMT weather forecast for Glasgow this Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The countdown to TRNSMT is getting closer with the big event just days away from kicking off.

Set to take place in Glasgow Green from July 7 to 9, it's going to be a busy weekend for the city whether you're going to the music festival or not.

Thankfully ScotRail are putting on on extra trains and late services the event. But with it getting closer, now is the time to be thinking about the weather and how to prepare yourself for the inevitable rainy spells we may have.

So what's the weather looking like during TRNSMT 2023? Here is what you need to know.

What's Glasgow weather looking like for TRNSMT 2023?

Friday - July 7

According to the Met Office, there are set to be lows of 15CC and highs of 20C on the first day of the music festival. For much of the day it is thankfully expected to remain dry.

However there will be a brief period where rain will fall at around 7pm. Apart from a small window where we will see a light shower of rain, the day is forecast to be cloudy with some sun peeking through behind the clouds.

Saturday - July 8

On the second day temperatures are looking much the same with lows of 15C and this time, highs of 22C. There will be more sunny spells with it set to be cloudy once again - however, with the sun comes some rain.

Rain is set to dampen Glasgow Green from 7am and will pick up once again at around 1pm, 4pm and 6pm.

Sunday - July 9

On the final day of TRNSMT, there will be lows of 13C and highs of 22C - much like the day before. But once again, we are to expect rain, says the Met Office, with their forecast predicting light showers at around 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm.
