Trinity College is ensuring their students living on-campus are well-equipped in the case of a blackout this winter.
The university is suppling battery lamps to all students living on campus . Trinity said the move was a "precautionary measure".
The lamps will be provided to the 1,500 students who live in the college's accommodation. In an email to students, Trinity said the lamps should only be used in the event of a power outage.
