A woman tragically killed after being hit by a car in South Lanarkshire has been named by the police.
Angela Marshall was knocked down by a car while on Croftfoot Road, Rutherglen, at around 6.35pm on Thursday January 13.
Emergency services raced to the scene of the incident, but the 55-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
