Tributes poured in across social media after news broke that Bob Saget had died aged 65.
On Sunday, the US actor and comedian, best known for playing Danny Tanner in the sitcom Full House, was pronounced dead in his hotel room in Orlando, Florida. His cause of death remains unclear.
Jim Carrey, George Takei and Whoopi Goldberg were among many who left touching tributes for the star.
Great British Bake Off presenter and comedian Matt Lucas called Saget “a magnificently naughty comedian.”
“Bob Saget was a powerhouse comedian who would make your sides hurt, but he was so humble and unassuming about it,” Lucas added in a follow-up tweet.
“He was so gracious to others and so excited and inspired by up-and-coming comedians. He really set a great example of how to be generous and encouraging to newcomers.”
