The man killed in a horror smash on a Hillfoots road earlier this month has been named as 67-year-old Peter Knox.
Mr Knox, from Tullibody, died following the three-car collision on the A91 – between Alva and Menstrie.
The crash happened at around 11.20am on Thursday, February 9.
A red Fiat 500, a red Kia Picanto and a blue Honda CR-V were involved in the collision. Initially, police said that
four people were hospitalised, including Mr Knox, who was the driver of the
Fiat 500 who sustained serious head injuries.
His 58-year-old female passenger’s condition was described as serious but stable.
The 75-year-old female driver of the red Kia Picanto and the 62-year-old female driver of the blue Honda CR-V remained in hospital for treatment. Their conditions were described by medical staff as stable.
However, Mr Knox died in hospital on Saturday, February 11.

Dollar Glen Football Club, where he was previously a coach, said: “We’re sad to hear the news this morning of the passing of former coach Peter Knox, who died as the result of a road traffic accident on the A91.
“Peter was assistant to manager Kenny from 2008 through to 2013. Our thoughts today are with Peter’s wife Wilma, son Marc and all of his immediate family.
“RIP Karaoke Peter. Your cheeky chappy manner will be missed.”
Tullibody pub The Inn also paid tribute. In its Facebook page they posted: “We are all devastated to hear the sad news of one of our good customers Peter Knox passing.
“Every one of us at The Inn would like to give their deepest condolences to Peter’s wife, kids, all of his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all customers and staff.
“Our karaoke king forever and always.”
Police are still looking to piece together the events that led to the collision and enquiries remain ongoing.
At the time of the accident Constable Kieran Grant of the Roads Policing Unit at Stirling said: “We would ask anyone who witnessed the crash, who has not yet spoken to police, to come forward.
“If you have any information that may assist our enquiry, or have dash-cam footage from the road around the time of the collision, then please call police.”
