A teenager who died while swimming with friends in a river has been named as Kalen Waugh.
The 16-year-old drowned after getting into difficulty in the water at Salford Quays on Saturday (July 16). He had been swimming with pals at the time of the tragedy, police say.
A major search operation was launched on Saturday evening by authorities, with his body found later that night. His death is not being treated as suspicious, Manchester Evening News reports.
