Trent Alexander-Arnold has revealed why he went to a Chris Brown concert with Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham last month.
The England team-mates set tongues wagging after they were pictured together meeting for the gig, as speculation linking the Borussia Dortmund midfielder with the Reds continues.
Liverpool have been linked with the 19-year-old, who has forged a close friendship with both Alexander-Arnold and Reds captain Jordan Henderson on England duty, for well over a year, with the midfielder believed to be Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice transfer target this summer.

With the Reds currently unlikely to qualify for the Champions League, and facing rival competition from the likes of Real Madrid and Man City, it remains to be seen if they will be successful in their pursuit of Bellingham.
But that hasn’t stopped continued talk of ‘Agent Trent’, as supporters regularly jest how the likes of Alexander-Arnold are putting in the ground-work in an attempt to lure the teenager to Anfield.
Speaking to Liverpool’s matchday programme, while Alexander-Arnold didn’t comment on such transfer talk, he did clear up how he ended up accompanying Bellingham to a Chris Brown concert.
“Yeah I went with him (Bellingham) as well,” the defender said, having previously seen Brown perform with fellow Reds team-mate Andy Robertson. “I didn’t take him (Robertson) to a concert, we all went together but I don’t think he was too enthusiastic to go.
“I don’t think he (Robertson) really cared for it that much but he got dragged along and ended up really enjoying it.
“I enjoyed the first concert so much that I decided to go again and he (Bellingham) was in town because he was meeting up with the national team, so we decided to go and everyone there enjoyed it.”
