Travel chaos after crash closes motorway by Gatwick airport

Gatwick Airport National Highways Surrey Police

Three people were rushed to hospital on Wednesday after a serious car crash involving four vehicles led to standstill traffic near Gatwick Airport.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on the M23 between Gatwick Airport and Crawley late this morning and were quickly forced to close the road as they dealt with the scene.
