Following the recent attack, trauma psychologists have been working diligently to provide support to victims and witnesses who have been deeply affected by the tragic event. According to one team member, Erika Rajo, there has been a significant increase in acute stress responses among those impacted.
Rajo noted that many individuals are experiencing intrusive thoughts about the attack, as well as feelings of grief and mourning. Additionally, some people are exhibiting physical symptoms as a result of the trauma.
