Transfer talks, Mykhailo Mudryk plans - Graham Potter's Chelsea to-do list ahead of Fulham

Chelsea have the rare opportunity of almost two weeks between their draw against Liverpool at Anfield and their next Premier League game at Stamford Bridge versus Fulham. It's a pace of schedule that will be unfamiliar to Graham Potter since taking over as Chelsea boss, with his only pauses tending to come when he has been short of players to coach.

The Blues' head coach had some time to make preparations against Liverpool too, and that was seen pretty swiftly against Jurgen Klopp's side. Chelsea's formation had nuance, adapting to the momentum of the game. Even if the side did not overly impress, the organisation could not be ignored.

Potter has already acknowledged that the current period is key both in terms of embedding in new players and it offering the time for Chelsea's injured stars to reach their full fitness. The likes of Reece James and Ben Chilwell have been in first team training but have yet to trouble a matchday squad, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek has the chance to put himself in contention for a spot in the starting XI too.
